  • We came here to watch the spectra show across the bay (There are better reviews elsewhere by the way). We arrived and although the hostess was kind enough to move us to a better table, it took over 15...  more »
  • See the MBS and the entire bay from this exquisite little bar with its own pool and beautiful views of the city. You'll not be disappointed - food and drinks are amazing!  more »
  • Even without staying put. Is the best place to see Marina Bay sands and the drinks are not cheap. Best check out Marina Bay sands spectrum night show time zone before you go, go with it. Everyone is scheduled sit out ago the show starts and take videos you can shoot beautiful photos come forward, so do not worry! Sands taken by iPhone's photos are posted! Shooting can be very beautiful! So there is no opportunity to stay at the Marina Bay sands and walk to partly come in. Very recommend.! You can walk late at night because the security situation is good.

  • The views are excellent, and on a breezy evening the meal will be comfortable and cool. There are vertical and horizontal curtains for sun and rain, so I think it will be fine even if the weather is not the most friendly. Drink variety is good, enjoyed the gin and tonic which was made of tonic brewed in house with cardamom and lemongrass. Lobster roll with truffle fries was hearty and tasty
  • Marking the end of the autumn harvest, the Mid-Autumn Festival was traditionally a time to give thanks to the gods. It is also a time of year that the moon is at its brightest, which is why lunar legends have always been attached to the celebration. Notably, the story of Chang E, the wife of a merciless king who downed the elixir of immortality he had intended to drink, to save her people from his tyrannical rule. The tale goes that she ascended to the moon after that, and has been worshipped by the Chinese as a Moon Goddess ever since. When dusk falls Since the Mid-Autumn Festival is about lunar appreciation, celebrations go into full swing once the sun goes down. Moon-viewing parties are a popular way to enjoy the occasion, as family and friends sit in gardens lit by the soft glow of paper lanterns, sip tea, nibble on mooncakes, and if so inspired, compose poetry in venerable Tang Dynasty fashion. Lanterns all a-glow Children love this festival because they get to tote lanterns. The traditional opt for those lighted by wax candles elegant paper versions or more elaborate multi-hued cellophane and wire structures shaped into everything from cars to cartoon characters. There are also unfortunately, plastic battery-operated music-emitting versions but to each his own. You’ll get to examine the real thing up close at some of the celebrations around the island, particularly in Chinatown where large beautiful lanterns will be on display marvels of creativity, artistry and traditional craftsmanship. You’ll also get to sample mooncakes and fine teas at the street bazaars, watch nightly performances and peek at lantern-painting competitions.
  • The view and the drinks here are spectacular. I’m surprised to find out that this is not highly ranked on the world’s Top 50 Bars list. The view is really magnificent here and on Chinese New Year + other festivities, you get a good sight of the fireworks that span across the Marina Bay area. I tried a Shaved Ice Bellini and Monkey 47 with Fevertree. The selection of drinks were good, however, when I went back to Lantern, the waiters didn’t know what a Shaved Ice Bellini is and the bartenders didn’t know how to make it. This inconsistency made me want to take one star off. Otherwise, great bar to visit in Singapore!
  • Popped by for dinner. Maybe it's a great place for drinks (nice view), but the food is bad. Wife had a bland cod fish, I had over cooked King prawns. The roast pork belly doesn't seem to be freshly made and you'd probably get better roast pork belly off a neighbourhood coffee shop. Service was cold too. Won't be back for dinner.
  • To management, do please educate yr waiters how to pour champaign. I used this fancy place for a special day, but didn’t feel the way we were treated was professional to match yr rating. Feb 04 CNY eve 18:30-19:30, 2019.
