  • Probably not as impressive as saying that you have been on the viewing deck at Marina Sands - but the views were just as great. This is unusually free in an expensive city. We had reasonably clear vie...  more »
  • Enjoy the view of Singapore. Shop at the Orchard so go good place to stop on the way. Breakfast is very good, close before sunset, seen at night.

  • We fluked finding this at ION Orchard Road. Open 3-6pm, it is the most amazing 360-degree view of the skyline as far as the eye can see. Don't pay to do the skydeck at marina bay sands - see it for fr...  more »

  • Free view tof the city! Access is via an elevator at level 4. They sometimes have private events so check beforehand on their website if it's closed. I couldn't see much because of the weather but should be awesome on a normal day.
  • It's open from 3 to 6pm (last admission 5.30pm). Expect a queue. Definitely worth a visit especially since it's free. The scenery is awesome. Even on a rainy day, you can look thru the day/night video on the telescopes available. The video is superimposed with information about the buildings you see on the telescopes.
  • Highly recommended for anyone interested in looking at the SG skyline (for free). I have not been to the top of MBS but ION Sky seems to be pocket friendly alternative. It is open to the public for free only from 3-6pm and the last entry is at 5:30pm so plan carefully. There is a separate lift to the top from the 4th floor
  • Amazing views to Singapore from a roof top! Also free to visit so I would definitely recommend it. The shopping center downstairs is a classy one with expensive fashion brand shops.
  • Free roof gallery in air-conditioned comfort. Fantastic views of Singapore. Do check the website for details on its opening as sometimes it's closed for private functions.
