  • little thailand in singapore with authentic thai street food,we had bbq steamboat and highly recommended.

  • To summarize: Mini Bangkok. It's a spectacular smorgasbord of Thai restaurants and random little shops selling everything from Thai bath/hair products to ointments for Muay Thai fighters. Large Thai supermarket on the upper floor as well. My new favorite restaurant in there is Dee Tongue Thai by Rung Mama. Great, authentic home-style Thai cooking. Very reasonably priced and large potions. The complex is old, grimy and neon-lit. Some stairwells reek of urine (blame that on the 20cent charge for restrooms). But embrace it for what it is and you'll find many diamonds in the rough.
  • Come here for the famous Thai Mookata @ New Udon. The renovation is abit old but the food is greag and crowd is non-stop!!!
  • Lively Thai diaspora. Golden Mile Complex is a commercial venue by day and an outgoing place at night! Definitely worth a visit. I also come here often to take buses to Malaysia.
  • Very good range of foods and products especially from Vietnam and Thailand. Weekdays are a bit quiet but on weekends usually bustling and filled with crowds of foreign workers. Note there are many travel agencies and a few bus companies located here so it's easy to catch a coach into Malaysia and beyond, all the way into Thailand and Vietnam!
  • Came here to buy bus tickets to ipoh. Cheap and good at $40 per ticket at Sri Maju
