  • Geylang Serai Market being so extra special espcially for Malay/Muslim to visit at least twice in a month . Its a must during Ramadhan Bazaar ( Fasting Month ) at pre Hari Raya season . What u need for household ingredient are avail easily & fresh & cheaply bargainable at Geylang Serai Market . Its also nearby to Joo Chiat Complex , Haig Road & Tanjung Katong Mall ...There are many more to come & much more to explore especially the Food at Geylang Serai Food Centre at 2nd level ...Enjoy your visit to GSM
  • A busy market during weekends. It opens very early at about 6 am and has a variety of fresh produce. Above there are plenty of stalls with traditional food and drinks. It's similar to Tekka market but more Malay oriented in terms of spices and dried condiments
  • I enjoy Geylang Serai market food just above the market. Sadly its on renovation. Heard they will reopen sometime in November 2016. My prudent wife likes the market though because of the cheaper prices compared to other wet market in that vacinity.
  • looking for Indian or malay food ingredients, beef lamb, or goat? or simply want to taste Indian or Malay Muslim food this is the place to go. Also one of the cheapest wet markets in Singapore
  • A lot of Malay food and Asian dishes. You can find mostly local products, however the price can be debatable. A nice place to visit and see. Can be a bit overcrowded, especially if you visit in the season of Hari Raya where you can find more open stalls selling items on discount.
