East Coast Park, Singapore

4.2
#1 of 8 in Beaches in Singapore
Gear up or wind down--the choice is yours--under the swaying palms of East Coast Park. This multifaceted park offers something for everyone, with an emphasis on outdoor recreational activities. Check out the beach volleyball pit, go on a cycling excursion, try cable skiing, go sailing, or dive into the skate park. There are plenty of picnic and barbeque pits available to make your own meals, or you can opt to visit one of the nearby restaurants. The beach is entirely man-made and protected by breakwaters, so feel free to dive right in. • I frequent east coast food centre weekly. Enjoy good and reasonably price local food. Free sitting open air facing the sea. Good range of good price beers  more »
  • Nice relaxing park with restaurants and shops near by. I enjoyed my time here and found it relaxing.  more »
  • It is a park spread along the east coast of Singapore. From the sea you can see a large ship that is anchored offshore, and an airplane flying from the airport in the sky. There is also a road in the park where you can enjoy bicycles and roller skates.

Message from Singapore Tourism Board
Here, visitors can take part in all kinds of leisure activities - from recreational cycling and rollerblading to fishing and skating. They can also stroll along the 15km stretch of beach and dine at various family-friendly restaurants. Unparalleled sunrise and sunset views are good enough reasons to head to East Coast Park - a scenic beach park stretching over 15km from Marine Parade to Bedok in the south-eastern part of Singapore. Bedok Jetty in Area F, which extends into the sea, is a good spot to capture spectacular sky and sea views. Visitors can also rent bicycles (try CycleMax, open 24 hours, facebook.com/cyclemax.sg) and ride on the cycling path along the picturesque coastline. The sandcastles at Area E, embellished with intricate staircases, bridges and fortification, are Instagram-worthy.
