Gear up or wind down--the choice is yours--under the swaying palms of East Coast Park. This multifaceted park offers something for everyone, with an emphasis on outdoor recreational activities. Check out the beach volleyball pit, go on a cycling excursion, try cable skiing, go sailing, or dive into the skate park. There are plenty of picnic and barbeque pits available to make your own meals, or you can opt to visit one of the nearby restaurants. The beach is entirely man-made and protected by breakwaters, so feel free to dive right in. Amazing place to walk especially during evening time, not so hot. The breeze and sea sounds will calm your mind and soul. Really like the idea to have cycling and walking/running path, no need to worry speeding bicycle. Try to chit chat with people nicely, you might get some surprise: Guy share his fishing tactic and one gentleman even let me walk his big dog.

Awesome place to visit for some nature and peace. Greatly maintain trails - separate trails for jogging/biking and walking. Clean beach and water but plenty of ships parked in a distance. Lots of trees around, bbq pits, etc. There are food/drink stalls and bike rentals. As well as, children playground areas. Seen people wind surfing, swimming, sailing, enjoying beach volleyball, fishing, etc.

Great for just about most outdoor activities- running, walking or just chilling in the splendor of the park. The park is well landscaped and a good atmosphere. Whilst swimming is allowed, it's not always opportune with the vast amount of shipping going by and whilst it is well maintained, there is occasional debris and waste.

Weekday afternoons are the best time to visit to beat the crowd. More peaceful when there's lesser folks running/cycling around. Great for long walks, cycling, jogging. Sink in and forget all the worries of the world.

Incredibly beautiful! If you're planning to spend a good time with your friends, family or partner in the evening then this is the right place for you to come. Make sure that you spend at least 3-4 hours and check out amazing points. A view of the beach will make you fall in love. Also, you can get bicycles on rent and there is a separate track for the same. There are a lot of other activities available for kids. You can also bring your own food and eat there. There is no entry fee as such in order to enter into the park/beach. Check out some pictures that I have clicked.

Message from Singapore Tourism Board
Here, visitors can take part in all kinds of leisure activities - from recreational cycling and rollerblading to fishing and skating. They can also stroll along the 15km stretch of beach and dine at various family-friendly restaurants. Unparalleled sunrise and sunset views are good enough reasons to head to East Coast Park - a scenic beach park stretching over 15km from Marine Parade to Bedok in the south-eastern part of Singapore. Bedok Jetty in Area F, which extends into the sea, is a good spot to capture spectacular sky and sea views. Visitors can also rent bicycles (try CycleMax, open 24 hours, facebook.com/cyclemax.sg) and ride on the cycling path along the picturesque coastline. The sandcastles at Area E, embellished with intricate staircases, bridges and fortification, are Instagram-worthy.
