Diggersite, Singapore

4.7
Diggersite is a brand-new destination, offering a unique experience for families and kids! It is one-of-a-kind edutainment centre that provides realistic experience in operating small scale construction machinery. The recreational and educational digger rides will help children develop skills such as hand-eye coordination, which forms the basic foundation for writing, crafts and other fine motor activities.

Children will get to put on construction safety helmets, looking like real construction workers. In addition to that, they will also get to build small blocks and operate a construction digger. This will provide the opportunity to educate the children through interaction, engagement and experience. This activity nurtures the development of life skills, thus establishing confidence and inspiration.

In just a couple of months since its opening, Diggersite has built a base of 5,000 Facebook fans and over 20 bloggers. Now Diggersite has over 10,000 fans and followers at facebook. They gave very encouraging reviews and positive write-ups on their sites. Diggersite has hosted many school field trips, birthday parties, and as well as private parties for students with special development needs. There was also a Straits Times article dated 15 April 2016 featuring Diggersite.

  • Great for kids. Small site but full of fun. Very friendly staff. Children must be supervised by adults to ensure safety of everyone. My boy is 3 and he enjoyed it very much.  more »

  • Great place to go with kids. They can learn more about construction equipments and also have hands on
  • The staffs were friendly and accommodated us well. My students had a lot of fun with the machineries.
  • Preferred the old location. When we visited some of the rides were not up and running. Lots of mosquitoes, bring repellent!!
  • Went as part of a preschool trip to the Yishun branch. I believe they have branches at Syntex and OneKM. Very fun and interesting experience that you normally would not get! It was really hot that day as it is outdoors, though shaded by trees. Not suitable for rainy weather. Bring insect repellent! As expected, you can't just leave your kids to play unsupervised, as there's risk with these machines. I think it's not really suitable for very young children (under 5), as they won't be able to reach the controls of the equipment, though adults are allowed to sit with the child. Still, it's a challenge coordinating the controls to perform the various tasks for each machine. But you and your kid will have a great sense of satisfaction just being able to dig the sand or lift the logs with the mechanical arms. There are about seven machines to try, and there was also a sand pit, and a tractor ride. Enough entertainment for at least 90 to 120 mins.
  • Bring your own water. N insect repellant
