Clip 'n Climb HomeTeamNS Reviews
I came here on a date with my girlfriend. Its more geared towards children, but I think its also fun for adults. The courses are easier than actual rock climbing, but some of them pose a legitimate ch... more »
Great place for beginner training to vertical climbing . Great fun with many different climb and easy for young children. Great staff who look after the young kids and not expensive more »
I had my PA card with me to "enjoy" the discount rate. However, the staff expected my children to be carrying their own PA cards to get the PA rate i.e. the parent's card was considered just for the p... more »
This place is awesome, but some of the photos are misleading and show a much bigger facility (maybe a different location?). The footprint is actually about 2k sqft, but most of the walls are represented. The instructors seem dedicated and safe. 10-pack w/passion card is S$154.
A safe and comfortable environment for children to try rock climbing
A good place for adult beginners or kids to start. No certificates? Dont need to have it! Just clip n climb....!! This place uses an auto belay system. What is belay? Its where someone holds ur weight wen u climb up. Now that is d manual belay. For auto belay, the mechanism at the top works like a seat belt, but it will not jerk u to stop, but to bring you down at an appropriste speed, to land u safely on d ground. Now u know abit bout that, u cn now get to know about their routes. There 2 places where u cn go in here. The main climbing area, consisting of 19 walls OR the bouldering area. Lets start with d boulder. This is about 2.3m tall area where one can try out to strengthen their grips. Not a popular area with beginners but a useful place to just let off some steam. Some just use this space to put their water bottles temporary while they proceed up one of the main climbing walls. The main climbing wall overlooks the stadium n has one of d best places to go during a match.. nway there are 3 different difficulty levels marked by d number of carabiner clips. 1 is d simplest, 2 medium and 3 clips mean its d hardest. It will be a full body exercise despite doing the simplest though. So dont b alarmed if u sweat out just by doing 1 clip walls. By the way if u are going with yr frenz and family, be prepared to show ALL their PAssion / HT or whatever cards.. koz they wana see the physical cards. Our kids were charged non member even though they are PAssion card members... abit unfair tho.. sigh.. unless they can refund, good la eh...hahhaa... So ya, go on down and have a great time inside, cheers!!!! #clipandclimb #hometeamns #htns #oth #passioncard #ourtampineshub #indoorrockclimbing #aircon #indoor #famwithsten
With auto belay system, you can climb any wall you want -- making sure that you follow their safety guideline. There are 19 arenas, spread into 3 levels of difficulty. Some people bring their kids, too. It was a great experience, especially that I went with my friends.
My kids had a great time there climbing different walls of difficulty. When children wanted to climb down, there will be a automatic lever to pull themselves safely to the ground. Parents such as me can wait outside Clip 'n climb in a air conditioner room as it is indoors. If you want to see the ticket prices, please refer to the photo below.
