Clarke Quay, Singapore
Categories: Shopping Malls, Shopping
Party the night away at Clarke Quay. Once a historical port and cargo center, the quay now throbs with energy as one of Singapore's liveliest night spots. Explore the refurbished warehouse buildings to find shopping by day and parties by night. Before you head to the clubs, fill up with a meal at one of the quay's many restaurants. Capture a memory of your evening by taking a selfie at the Social Wall, a mural especially designed for sharing on social media. Singapore best Night outs - Bar, Dance and restaurant. Best on Saturday nights. lot of wide range of cuisine from Egypt, mexico, indian etc. Cuban dance club , bikini bar etc.
You can have full range of fun here at the night. This place do not sleep. A lot of dining options and fun activities are there.
Nice place to eat and spend time. Food is awesome in some restaurants but there are also heavy overpriced places too. Be aware and check the pricelist before you will pick restaurant. Example there can be "$20 wine bottle opening payment" PLUS local taxes for the bottle. Usually there is only one payment but some restaurants can bill you twice. Also 10% tip and 6% vat is billed as extra. But nice and clean place if you are ready to pay. You can also just spend some time there and watch.
If you want over priced drinks, want to hang with mostly tourists, eat over priced food then definitely come here. We were lucky to find a bar with a 'reasonable' happy hour, with select beers at £5 per pint (SG$10 at the time) on the quiet side of the quay. Worth seeing once, but only if you are in the area. I appreciate alcohol is expensive in Singapore, but there really are much cheaper places to drink than Clarke Quay
My favourite rooftop bar in Singapore and probably the world! Has great atmosphere and music. Prices aren't sky high. SG is pretty much around this price (expensive lol)
Relaxed indoor outdoor riverside precinct filled with all different cuisines and types of venues. Something for everyone. Particularly enjoyed McGettingans Irish Bar - cheers to Brian (aka BJ), Murphy and Slim.
This place is famous for night life. After sunset, buy a beer or wine and have a drink with your friend at the bank. Enjoy the light and music with breeze, few things can be better than that. If you are interested in the different face of Singapore, please go there after midnight, and I can guarantee you a surprise.
