  • This popular area is characterized by its low houses. It arose in 1821 and is the center of the Chinese community in the city. Many bars and restaurants can be found along its streets. A point of interest is the Buddhist temple and the Sri Mariamman hindu Temple. In addition there are many street stalls of crafts in which gifts priced can be purchased. In Chinatown, there are many establishments of reflexology and others dedicated to the oriental medicine. In the evening, on weekends, is an area in which there are many pubs and discos and karaoke. It is a good place to visit is its near metro station.
