Where to stay in Singapore

For leading chain hotels, head to the area around Orchard Road, considered the tourist center of Singapore due to its varied selection of rooms, good travel links, and tourist-focused businesses. At the eastern end of the road, you'll find more luxurious and expensive options, with hotels located in impressive colonial-era architecture. North and south of this main artery, backpacker hostels and budget hotels provide affordable rooms with basic facilities.

  • Small and not to many exciting collection. Have to pay $2 to see the collection on the 2nd floor.
  • Small but stuffed with more vintage toys than you can imagine. $2 to check out the gallery on the 2nd floor. The old dolls and toys give the place a slightly creepy feel, though that does add to the excitement of visiting the place
  • Lots of toys and items that trigger childhood memory. Owner is very nice and helpful.
  • This is a lesser know museum that is really worth a visit. They have all the old toys from decades ago and it's really nostalgic to look at them. There are lots of items in the museum to see even if the museum is quite small. Definitely worth the ticket price, which is not much anyway.
