Inspirock Rating:
3.9/5 based on 380+ reviews on the web
Combine modern entertainment with spiritual history at CHIJMES, a multi-purpose hall that was once a Catholic convent. The original convent, called Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus, was built in 1840, with an additional chapel constructed in 1904; it operated for over 100 years. Located on Victoria Street in the city's main business district, this Gothic-style complex has since been named a national monument and been converted into a commercial destination. View the architecture, browse the shops, enjoy fine dining, or come for a special event.
