Butterfly Garden, Singapore
(4.1/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web)
Slightly unusual for an airport (but definitely a soothing activity among Changi Airport’s hustle and bustle), Butterfly Garden offers the chance to survey numerous butterflies in a lush, controlled greenhouse setting. An ideal way to entertain the family while awaiting flight transfers, the Garden aims to take visitors away from the busy atmosphere of the airport. You'll be able to note the various stages of the butterfly’s life journey on display here, from chrysalis to adult. • I visit here every time I'm at Changi Airport. They have a lovely selection of beautiful butterflies, as well as cocoons in various stages of hatching. A great place for people of all ages.

  • Another attraction in Singapore that's worth the visit. Lots of mounted beetles and butterflies, but a large area with live ones flying around. Only place where I've ever seen this many different butterflies in one place, that literally land on you. Singapore is so small, nothing is out of the way, so make a stop here.
