Butterfly Garden, Singapore

4.3
#19 of 70 in Parks in Singapore
Slightly unusual for an airport (but definitely a soothing activity among Changi Airport’s hustle and bustle), Butterfly Garden offers the chance to survey numerous butterflies in a lush, controlled greenhouse setting. An ideal way to entertain the family while awaiting flight transfers, the Garden aims to take visitors away from the busy atmosphere of the airport. You'll be able to note the various stages of the butterfly’s life journey on display here, from chrysalis to adult. • I visited while waiting for flights at Changi Airport. It is released free of charge, so just to pass the time. Is closed at night. Wide can be seen, beautiful butterflies and flowers. Please try if you like nature.

  • When I arrived at the first place to get the courage to open the door. Here I leave you a written airport had a feeling that goes into the Woods. Get in to see a place like this in the middle of the airport can make a once-admired, this place would be so natural and beautiful classic once again remember the admiration. The airport is really spacious, but still the window and seen the sights stop here if you haven't yet, then we recommend the travel stop in Singapore. Not so small you can see the size of it all for a few minutes, but once the stay is beautiful, healing hate this place.

  • A nice diversion in Changi Airport, absolutely chock full of butterflies that won't flee when you get close. The seem to feed on pineapple and there are a lot of decaying slices on the feeding table. If you don't mind the smell, get close cause that's where the best photos are.
  • A very cool spot to kill10-20min in terminal 3. Very warm inside
  • Unexpected little garden with a lot of colorful butterflies. You can also see the cocoons here, some are transforming to butterfly.
  • A Beautiful small garden with colourful butterflies at the airport. Located at terminal 3.
  • I visited Changi Airport last year on my trip to Australia. since i had a lot of time until i could board my plane i decided to pay a visit to the famouse butterfly garden. it was a wonderful experience. lots of beautiful (and huge) butterflies, a great amtosphere and really nice staff there. i spent around an hour in there but it felt more like 5 minutes ;) 10/10 would reccommend.

Where to stay in Singapore

For leading chain hotels, head to the area around Orchard Road, considered the tourist center of Singapore due to its varied selection of rooms, good travel links, and tourist-focused businesses. At the eastern end of the road, you'll find more luxurious and expensive options, with hotels located in impressive colonial-era architecture. North and south of this main artery, backpacker hostels and budget hotels provide affordable rooms with basic facilities.
