Arab Street, Singapore

(3.7/5 based on 1,600+ reviews on the web)
Explore one of Singapore's key cultural hubs at Arab Street. As the name suggests, the district boasts a strong Arabic history and still displays that flavor today. Examine colorful textiles in cozy shops, stop for a chai in one of the many cafes, or take a quiet moment to appreciate the architecture of a serene mosque. Taste fragrant Middle Eastern foods or share a shisha--flavored tobacco smoked through a lavishly decorated pipe--with friends. • The Arab Street leads directly into the trendy Kampong Glam. It has many small shops and Cafés. The more interesting streets are but left and right of it, such as the st. Hajin Many of the houses in this neighborhood are elaborately painted and the actual attractions. For more information please visit our blog: joinourjourneys
