Create an itinerary including Anse Source D'Argent
With snow-white sand offset by granite boulders and bright blue waters, Anse Source D'Argent ranks as one of the Seychelles' most popular beaches. Located within one of the archipelago's largest uninhabited islands, the beach features shallow, clear waters perfect for snorkeling or an easy swim. When you feel peckish, walk along the edge of the beach to sample some of the freshly prepared food from local vendors. Many visitors stop here first on an island-hopping tour, so expect the beach to get busy at peak times. • It is like a postcard everywhere you look. If you are lucky enough to travel to the Seychelles, you really must visit the island of La Digue and see all the beaches. It is extraordinary!

  • This beach is stunning - the granite rocky outcrops, the turquoise sparkling waters and silky sand makes for a great beach experience.

  • Stunningly gorgeous beach. I’ve travelled all over the world and have never seen a beach like this. The best way to enjoy it is to simply wander around, taking in the boulders.

  • This is a beautiful beach with stunning rock formations. Check the tide as you want to go during high tide. The walk through the plantation is nice and to go past a small giant tortoise enclosure. You can also see them roam freely on other parts of the island. There are two beaches here to explore and enjoy. This was our favourite beach on the island but we weren’t able to go to Coco due to the path being blocked by a fallen tree.
  • Not much beach to lie down as the water runs up pretty high, although it's nice to take a walk and admire these huge granite rocks. I would say that the beach is best experienced from the water looking in (we did that by doing the crystal kayak excursion..totally worth it).
  • Very overrated beach. This should be One of the best beaches in world? Hardly. Best beach maybe for photos, which are really nice, but thats all. It is not good for swimming because there are rocks and sea grass, water is too hot. It is not good for snorkeling either because water is not clear at all and there is nothing to see anyway. And the cherry on the top is that you have to pay to visit this beach... I recommend everybody to consider it twice.
  • Absolutely incredible beach maybe the most beautiful place I have ever been too. there are shallow places in the water with wonderful fish these places are perfect for snorkeling. Not to mention that there are many beach bars that serve wonderful drinks alongside free fruit like coconut and papaya. A must visit beach🇸🇨
  • The famous beach with the giant granite rocks. In the morning the water level was very low, but it increased by the afternoon. It is same or even better than on the pictures.
