Zemunski kej, Zemun

Categories: Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4.6/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web
Stroll along Zemunski kej, a picturesque wooded path by the Danube River featuring charming cafes on barges, recreational spaces, and ethnic restaurants. Stretching for some 2.5 km (1.6 mi), the area connects New Belgrade with Zemun's most famous location--Gardoš hill. Most of the boats that come to this part of the city stop here. Experience this urban oasis and breathe the fresh air just outside of the city bustle. You can also grab a sweet or savory pancake, sold at numerous street stands, and rest on a bench while watching the swans on the river. Drop by the large Hotel Jugoslavija, still recovering from the 1999 NATO bombing; at night, its surroundings become a mecca for clubbers.
