  • We stopped in during a service, but beautiful painting insude of the Serbian Orthodox Saints. Great examples of the painting of the late 1700's.
  • U ovaj Sveti hram kada udjem osecam se srecno i zadovoljno.Srce mi je puno ljubavi jer sam okruzena Pravoslavljem
  • A small beautiful church in the central square of Zemun. The façade of the slightly dilapidated, betraying the Church ladies charm of an old building.

  • The Church of Saint-Nicolas, located 43 Rue Njegoševa, built between 1745 and 1752 in place of an old wooden building with a thatched roof. The current Temple consists of a central nave with an apse and a half barrel vaulted choir vaulted barrel. A two-storey tower, topped by bulbous metal dominates the western part of the building. In architectural terms, the Church is typical of the Baroque. The original Bell Tower was destroyed by fire in 1867, renovated in 1870. The Church of Saint-Nicolas is the oldest Orthodox Church in the old centre of Zemun and one of the oldest religious buildings in the territory of the city of Belgrade.
