  • This market is centrally located, its exterior architecture is interesting but the market itself is a fairly plain produce market.
  • A few foot steps South of the malls packed with expensive Western clothes and shoe shops literally diving into the real, Serbian daily life. The lush farmer's market with its versatile, regional products, we offered 'Westerners' at sensationally low prices, is fascinating. An abundance of vegetables, herbs, fruits, nuts, meat and cheese. Actively attended by the local population. A little schmuddliger impression, but not dirty. The chaos of the clearly poor local population shows a look into a different, unusual, but real world, between Occident and Orient. I was never uncomfortable. On the contrary; The Serbs are always friendly and unobtrusive. Very much recommended.
