(3.9/5 based on 120+ reviews on the web)
Red Star Belgrade Stadium - Marakana, the home field of Red Star Belgrade, has a seating capacity of 55,538, which makes it one of the biggest stadiums in the Balkans. Dating back to 1927, the site first belonged to Yugoslavia FC; it was mostly made of wood and had standing room for 20,000 fans. In 1975, the stadium was capable of hosting 110,000 people. The field today features high comfort and security, a modern media center, and cafes. Drop by for a game or visit the premises between the matches. • If you love football, if you want to breathe in the atmosphere of the game, the tension, the terrible emotions, then this place is definitely for the visit. Yes, football in Serbia and the Balkans in General-is not just a game, and even policy somewhere, but emotions and unique! We arrived at a friendly match between two fraternal teams, which are, perhaps, the best relationship in the world. At least 3,000 thousand fans Spartak hit the friendly embrace of their red-white Serbian brothers. The old stadium itself, but maybe this is its "soul" and the power. All common, izrisovannyj graffiti, without adequate security, but such a strong spiritual! There is a Museum at the Stadium Club and a good fan-shop, and a restaurant. Of course, in terms of football viewing it does not compare with new arenas, but what a drive! And it was just 25,000, and that if it is full? The first half looked at "West", while the second went into the grounds of the famous rostrum "North." All wall ispisana paintings glorifying the military background of fans in the 90 's and everything that has to do with the Club. Adds piquancy to the fact that the main stadium with pass, perhaps the most aggressive games, is located in 10 minutes walk. Balkan wisely understand very difficult ...
