As part of the present Museum of Yugoslav History complex, it has seen more than 17.5 million visitors since its opening in 1982, even though it was closed for over a decade.   • It was interesting to see what kind of man Josip Broz Tito was. I've heard a lot about him, both good and bad, so it was really interesting to see what he actually did for the country during his time.

  • This museum and mausoleum is not particularly large and doesn't take too long to see. It is not overly grand or tacky like similar sites in communist countries. It's actually done quite tastefully. It's a little far from the centre of town and probably not a priority if you're short of time but worth seeing if you can, just for the significance of how important this man was to the past century's history.
