Take a walk along the longest river in the European Union, Danube River, snap photos of its idyllic confluence with the Sava River, or head to the restaurants and nightclubs lining the shore. Passing just below the city's gem--the fortress Kalemegdan--and separating the old city from the newer parts, this river serves as a recreation spot for the locals, who cycle, jog, and relax here under the shade of the trees. You can meet all walks of life here, from old fishermen to wealthy clubbers. Numerous companies also offer river cruises, taking people to places near and far from Belgrade, including neighboring countries. Take a camera with you, as photography opportunities abound. • A beautiful river with plenty of activities on the river bank. It's good to see the place where Danube river meets sava river. Water appears to be not clean but definitely a paid cruise is not worth.  more »
