  • You have to pay only SAR 10 (< $3) for adults and SAR 5 (< $1.5) for children as entrance fees. For this price we were expecting much lower family entertainment standards, but we were surprised that w...  more »
  • Large and beautiful garden. A large diversity of fauna. In restaurants that serve simple snacks. And the train takes you lap the Park I think the ticket with five real or less per person. If it becomes more organized way of riding the train, forcing visitors to adhere to the lineup. Make sure you visit are always in winter and pleasant atmosphere I imagine the unbearable summer heat and all open spaces

  • Very well maintained zoo. Lots of animals to see. Has a mini train to ride for all ages, it gives you a quick glimpse of the entire zoo. Snack shops are also there. Must visit at least once. I suggest you visit in moderate weather not in hot summer 😎
  • Riyadh zoo is an average zoo. It has a limited number and range of animals. Many of the enclosures are empty. However the place is clean and well maintained however don't expect to spend more than a couple of hours visiting the place as you will become bored after that. The zoo is in the Malaz area of Riyadh and is easily accessible. It has its own parking facilities and most days you will easily find empty parking spaces. The zoo closes at around 6pm so make sure you arrive at the zoo no later than 4pm. The entrance fee is very reasonable with entrance charges starting at 10 riyals for adults and 5 riyals for children.
  • Most important place we can visit in Riyadh several times. Very well arranged zoo which I gone till now. entry fees of 10 riyal for adult and 5 riyal for children, enjoy your trip with family here.. no doubt all that here what u need..
  • It's something. You feel sorry for the animals who have to endure the extreme summer heat. You can't completely fault the zoo, they haven't maintained it that bad I guess. However, you do occasionally see some people who should not be there. some 'Shabaab.' I have seen a kid throwing his drink that was in a plastic container into the deer pit so the deer could drink. Not sure how he thought the deer could drink through the straw and not engulf the harmful plastic. I've seen one kid pour some of his drink down into the deer pit so that the drink was landing into the sand and then obviously there is no way the deer could drink what would now be mud. So, yes, you will be entertained not only by the animals, but sometimes also the spectators or visitors. Surprisingly, they did have a good variety of animals so I wasn't disappointed. There is a ten riyal fee for the zoo, which is worth it.
  • Funny Educational and Lovely place for your children and families.. The best visits in winter from October to March..to avoid hot summer.. Very organised and clean Zoo

Where to stay in Riyadh

The hotels of Olaya Street and King Fahd Road are pretty hard to miss, whether you're looking for accommodations or not. You can find some simpler, standard hotels in this central area, but the emphasis really lies on luxury and showmanship here. Though known for the luxuriousness of its accommodations, Riyadh contains some options fit to please those looking for something a little more modest and budget-friendly. Take a peek at the Al-Batha district for the majority of hostels and guesthouses, located either on the main thoroughfare of the same name, or on side streets just off it.
