Where to stay in Medina

As a crucial pilgrimage destination and one of the holiest places in Islam, Medina offers a huge variety of accommodations, though non-Muslim visitors should note that most lodgings cluster in the city center, accessible to Muslims only. Visitors can choose from a wide range of lodgings, from low-cost inns with basic facilities to grandiose five-star hotels. Generally centrally located, the hotels generally get pricier the nearer they are to the Grand Mosque. Non-muslims have the option of staying at the hotel near the airport, outside of the forbidden zone.

  • It's small but it's nice.. i recommend visiting it.. going with family and kids.. cuz it teaches a lot about the history of prophet Mohammed.. but if you wanna go in groups (more than 5-7 people) you should call them first..
  • Good museum. Be there by 9am. Otherwise u may miss much information because the guide may have been moved forward along the group, with the explanation.
  • You'll get every single information about the time of Rasulallah S.A.W till Turkish rule and if you have any doubts they'll explain very nicely
  • Learn alot about madinah, makkah and of course about Rosullullah from this place. Explanation and maket was very good. Got complementary arabic coffee and dates...nice service
  • Great Experience. This Museum is adjacent to Masjid-e-Quba and very helpful for the visitors to study History of Madinah Munawwara.
