Famous for Mecca in abundance its mountains where is it mountainous area due to frequent these mountains some nomenclature know her are either attributed to people who lived on them for Islamic and historical incidents. These mountains we find that there is a mountain called mount light and another third ABO LHB mount Thor and Abu qubeis and many other well known and famous mountains in Mecca and its villages. And some historical books and documents and people who lived in the vicinity of these mountains has highlighted, it turns out that mountain of light, which is located in northeastern Grand Mosque overlooking the road to justice and called by this name for the appearance of lights which prophecy where the Prophet Allah stared him when free to worship Allah! Before the mission. There is also at the helm when Hira hermit by the Prophet peace and blessings of Allah which descended upon the first revelation of the letter. This mountain height stands at 642 metres and descends sharply steeper 380 meters until it reaches 500 meters and then continue downhill on angled so the top of the mountain and five square kilometers, 250 meters long and resemble the cowl top dressed on the head or as camel's hump and mount Mecca found similar to the mountain of light is a unique shape and call its base extended begbilat around it on all sides.

The mountain is located in Makkah in the neighborhood was named after the mountain, it is understood that where Hira, Laurel who was worshipped in the Prophet Mohamed Allah bless him and grant him before his mission, some people think that climb on the mountain and pray at the laurels an advantage or an increase in pay, but that's not true as stated by top scientists, but considered that that fad. I would advise others not to climb the mountain, is very high, and rocky parts, I saw several people tired and exhausted them each has a sprained foot making it difficult to get off.
