  • This mosque is a great place for expats to take photos, just make sure to be discreet, wear your abaya and hijab, and don't point the camera at women.  more »

  • MashaAllah amazing view. Be responsible and respect the mosque when you visit. Please don't make it a picnic point.
  • Amazing mosque on the beach, it's not floating, it's builded on the beach with the sea That will be nice place to take a photo And the nice place to pray
  • Another rest area from mecca to jeddah airport, Alot asean people come to this place just to rest and take picture of this floating mosque (when tide is high)
  • Setting aside the lack of good facilities - subpar lavatories, lack of air conditioning and little Islamic books, including Qur'an, on its shelves - this mosque boasts one of the best views of the city of Jeddah and the surrounding Red Sea. While the facade of the buidling leaves a lot to be desired, the interior is simply fascinating, with Islamic relief adorning the walls and roof and spectacular atmosphere, courtesy of year-long sunshine shining from the windows, plus the magnificent view if you look outside from the windows. Outside the mosque some merchants peddle merchandise and vendors sell food, and not far from the mosque the rocky coastline and blue waters is simply sublime.
  • Beautiful seaside mosque with large yards that attract Umrah visitors. I believe a thorough revision is due, especially the bathrooms.
