  • I came to San Marino with the intention to visit, first of all, this museum. My expectations have not been disappointed, but I admit I have been more impressed than expected. The small museum is arranged on 2 floors, the atmosphere is intentionally tetra (soft lights and music), there are no guides but captions describing the torture instruments and their use: so everyone can take your time to read and follow. It was a powerful experience, but also informative: I think everyone should know this important part of the history of mankind, though particularly bloody.
