Museo Creature della Notte - Vampiri e Licantropi, City of San Marino

1.5
#5 of 8 in Museums in San Marino
Museo Creature della Notte - Vampiri e Licantropi depicts scenes of bloodthirsty creatures, including vampires and werewolves. This small wax museum highlights graphic violence in 3-D. You can expect to see the personification of these disturbing mythical creatures, like a werewolf constrained by chains and later preying on a human, tombs, and heads in glass displays. This museum is not suitable for a younger visitors, as it is quite graphic. • I was looking forward to the visit to this museum as a fan of movies with Dracula & co.. The disappointment was all the greater: the figures, to see that they are given in the premises were very interesting, however insisted the entire Museum of only 4 or 5 rooms, what I felt at an entrance fee of €8.50 per person ripped me off. It is after 10-15 minutes with the visit. In addition to the figures was much text in Italian and you got down in the hand a folders with also lots of text in English, but you can read at home that is on the Internet. Had I known that before, I would have spent my money on something else!

  • Good place overall, recreation of vampires is exceptional. 4-5 rooms with very nice figures if vampires and its life. Nice to see but not worth the money  more »
  • You cute also did fairly well but ... €8.50 apiece to see number 4 rooms where there are about ten puppets seems a little troppo...si can avoid you will not miss anything ...

  • While I enjoyed this museum, I found it a little over priced considering there were only two or three small rooms. We paid €17 for two people. They do give you a book that to accompany your tour explaining the history of each exhibit which wss interesting.
  • This place is really particular. If you love Dracula and others, this is the place for you. It is very suggestive, maybe not so good for babies.
  • Awesome museum, a bit pricey but worth it for sure
  • There have been but I object strongly to the existence of this place ... especially the name "Museum".
