Mount Titan, City of San Marino

Categories: Mountains, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.8/5 based on 300+ reviews on the web
With castle-like walls, towers, and gates growing out of the large grassy mound, Mount Titan represents a protected World Heritage Site. Three ancient towers--Guaita, Cesta, and Montale--sit atop the three mountain peaks and have become a symbol of the city-state. The mountain provides the backdrop for the small country and is home to many architecturally and culturally important areas, such as the Palazzo Pubblico, the Basilica del Santo Marino, and Teatro Titano Theatre. • Quite often we are in San Marino on Mount Titano. I think that to describe this place is meaningless because all the splendor you need to see. BUT ... for the first time in one of the food stalls ", which is directly opposite the hotel entrance" Titanium ", decided to buy not a great souvenir, in the form of" leather flasks "with liquor (who was in San Marino, those know that prices there are an order of magnitude higher than in Rimini or Ancona). Here we waited for a "surprise" from an immigrant from Ukraine, the young man demanded money from us for simple polyethylene/transparent packages in which he wrapped us these wines. We've heard a lot of "Bon" .... In General spend a day to visit San Marino think a must for any tourist, but not for shopping in this store.
