Mount Titan, City of San Marino
(4.7/5 based on 300+ reviews on the web)
With castle-like walls, towers, and gates growing out of the large grassy mound, Mount Titan represents a protected World Heritage Site. Three ancient towers--Guaita, Cesta, and Montale--sit atop the three mountain peaks and have become a symbol of the city-state. The mountain provides the backdrop for the small country and is home to many architecturally and culturally important areas, such as the Palazzo Pubblico, the Basilica del Santo Marino, and Teatro Titano Theatre. Make Mount Titan a centerpiece of your City of San Marino vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our City of San Marino trip generator.

  • Mount Titano represents the heart of the Republic. On the is the capital and the historic centre. It is visible from most of the territory of the Republic and offers some magnificent views.

  • Mount Titano rises and is home to the castle of San Marino and the city with the same name. The view from Mount Titano, from the city are truly spectacular. Be accessed by cable car or by the city of San Marino through its elevators to go up levels of the city.

  • Small shops from disparate junk, typical tourist traps, all shelves piled in streets already small and cobbled streets. The mount itself would be also nice landscape but is ruined by a stampede created by shops (useless) and tourists (rude).
