Falealupo Canopy Walk, Savai'i

(130+ reviews on the web)
Wildlife Area Nature / Park
View the Falealupo Rainforest Preserve from the treetops with Falealupo Canopy Walk, a hanging bridge leading through the branches of giant banyan trees. People with a fear of heights might want to avoid this attraction, but others can feel free to stop on the walkway and enjoy the view. Try to spot birds and lizards in the branches, and then ask your guide about the forest's legends. You will hear stories of the gateway to the underworld at the peninsula's point, or a story of Tilafaiga, the mother and creator of Samoan tattoos. Plan to see Falealupo Canopy Walk and other attractions that appeal to you using our Savai'i vacation planner.

  • The rainforest is beautiful and the tree climb and swing bridge are fun but if you have seen lots of rainforest elsewhere it's not really worth the drive. Parking and well kept toilets onsite.  more »
