4.1/5 based on 30+ reviews on the web
Ravaged by the 2009 earthquake and tsunami, Lefaga Beach has since rebuilt its infrastructure and thrives again as a tropical paradise. This beach is great for relaxing and sunbathing on the white sand. Grab your snorkeling gear and search for giant clams in the clear waters, or take a kayak out and explore the shoreline. A nearby resort offers toilets, showers, a restaurant, and other convenient facilities. This attraction is famous for being the setting of the 2004 Gary Cooper film "Return to Paradise." • Lefaga was absolutely beautiful, stunning weather, view, noise levels were amazing literally like we were on a whole other planet. Water was beautiful nice and cool. Easy to access. Great drive.
  • If what you are looking for are extensions of sand white or Golden, forget it. Samoa does not have that. It does at least not in quantity. This beach not is the exception, the sand has remains of snails and other molluscs, is narrow during the tide and the water not is particularly (although if acceptably) warm. Said esto, Lefaga is an of the best beaches in Samoa. If going to Samoa that not is by the beaches but, rather, to appreciate its old culture well preserved and their landscapes.
