  • Always interesting! History of Sakhalin, associated with the presence of a.p. Chekhov, reconstruction of everything connected with it, up to the foptepiano and the work of the Cabinet. On the first floor there is always something special, every time different, paintings, household items, costumes, etc. The Museum has its own amateur theater, every time there are various master-classes for adults and children! Will be in the South-Sakhalinsk, necessarily go to the Museum of book Chekhov Sakhalin Island! Recommend!

  • Somehow the past with her son, and decided to stop by. I was pleasantly surprised! Firstly: the great exhibition-Exposition on the residence on Sakhalin displaced persons and convicts in times of Anton Chekhov. "Bit" forced resettlers, House, medical office-all very interesting, and children and adults. My son was interested to stand on the "deck" of the ship. On the second floor was an exhibition of paintings by Sakhalin artist. I'm not a fan of painting, in principle, but as a man I was very interesting to see the "real" picture, not reproductions.
