The Church of Ascension, Yekaterinburg

Sitting at one of the highest spots in the town, The Church of Ascension boasts a bright blue-and-white facade, shiny gilded domes, and Baroque-style ornaments. Dating back to 1792, the church ranks among the oldest in town. Recently restored, it brightens up its surroundings and serves as a temple for the devotional community. See the old icons and gilded details inside and read information about the last Russian tsar, Nicholas Romanov, and his family, who were executed at this church's original location. • As Church gives you one hundred laps to the Basilica in the blood, both in aesthetics, historical importance and meaning. Barely receives visits since it is in a State of eternal service.

  • Beautiful ensemble. Is in the city centre, opposite the Church on the blood. Near the small square and the old farmstead. Required to attend during a stroll through the city centre.
