Dedicated to the Romanov sainthood, Church on the Blood stands on the spot where the last Emperor of Russia, Nicholas II, and his family were executed. After being held captive during the Russian Civil War, Tsar Nicholas and his family, which included the famous Grand Duchess Anastasia, were killed. Bolshevik leaders carried out the executions in the Ipatiev House in 1918, which was demolished by Soviet forces in the 1970s. Visit the ornate Russian Orthodox church, built on the site in 2003. • its a Must to see ,very Beautiful Church inside and outside,no photos allowed inside,, it was very cold September 2016 when we went theier and no time to visit the Museum part . we recommend this site
  • Temple of blood is one of the places in Yekaterinburg, which you should definitely visit. Near the temple there is a free Museum about the last days of the life of the Tsar and his family, but the only group in the museum tours and with a guide.
