Where to stay in Yaroslavl

Places to stay in Yaroslavl might not be as numerous as in some other Russian cities, but you can still find a good selection of accommodation to satisfy a range of tastes and budgets. The city is home to several large hotels, ranging from the luxurious, with on-site spas and swimming pools, to more modest economy options. A handful of small, charming boutique hotels and bed and breakfasts offer more intimate lodging. Fully equipped apartments and budget hostels round out the selection. Because accommodation in Yaroslavl is not particularly plentiful, it's always wise to make reservations ahead of time.

  • This is an old convent, that was restored in late 1990-s. Many people used to come here on different religious holidays. One can find here nice churches, ponds, cedar grove.  more »

  • An extraordinary place. Went there on the ship Moscow, Yaroslavl Tolga-114 (final), travel cost 28 rubles to one. With impressive views of Marina. The territory is large and well appointed, all in different breeds of trees, lots of colors, there are several pools; on one of them live 2 Black Swans and ducks. The main church is open to the public, the rest like no. There is a refectory, where you can grab a bite to eat (there are soups, salads, main course, dessert), where you can buy monastic goods-Lenten cookies, sbiten, and much more. Inside the main church very many icons, several halls and rich painting on the walls, Church bench. We were lucky-we saw the mother of nuns Differen only on the large cross on the neck and towards her (with respect thereto approached). In the same way in the territory has its own vegetable garden, its bakery. Spent there 3:00. Back left on the small bus number 34, goes up to red square (that's roughly where the river station and Cafe "Vanilla Sky"-from the square to the pier to go to Park 4 minutes).

  • Believers will be interesting for tourists as an object of worship, regular tourists seem just nicely, foreign as a monument of history and culture of Russia. But there are many shortcomings: there are virtually no shops (and if it is, it is not in the shade) when we visited here, everything (everything) was closed, wanted to visit in hvaljonoj Grove, but alas, this left an indelible unpleasant recollection. But nice. The temple is very beautiful. It is a wonderful monument of ancient architecture. There is a beautiful grove, but it can be closed

  • The Tolgskij monastery is best to travel along the Volga River. Incredibly beautiful views plus a large area provide an opportunity to relax and take a walk.

  • Very beautiful place. Council-better get on "water" by boat. View from the Volga, when podplyvaesh' to the monastery-3. The territory itself is very clean, there are pointers-it is difficult to get lost.
