  • A huge area of the monastery and to get to the temples you need to go through the whole economic territory. Temples, like the territory are well maintained and nicely restored. Succeeded with one of these main shrines of Russia Tolgskoj-miraculous icon of the mother of God. What surprised me is next to the icon of our chains are kept under glass serafima sarovsky chudotvortsa (I wonder how they got to them?). There's also a number of relics of Saint Ignatius Brianchaninov. In the same Church very much beautiful and ancient icons. For Orthodox Russians necessarily to visit, if you stay in Yaroslavl. There is a dining room for all comers. Feed very tasty and inexpensive. Truth in post meat dishes there, note to those who are not fasting.

  • Beautiful, very blessed place with amazing energy, for pilgrims there are lounges, very delicious pies in the refectory, where you can dine, and we did not take lunch, but looks very appetizing. Go back necessarily there in summer.

  • This is a place you must visit if you're in Yaroslavl, because it is the spiritual center of the city. Here you can come to the floor hours, half-day, full-day tourist, Pilgrim, you can trudnikom for a few days-you will be accommodated free of charge in a very very decent hotel with regard to pilgrims, staff-call abode there all tell that here there are interesting for tourists. 1. Holy icon-image of the Blessed Virgin, through which the monastery appeared, applied to this image still people 700 years ago, including Ivan the terrible! Many other healing and umudrjajushhie shrines of 2. a terrific history of the monastery, magnificent 3 sisters who lead tours of the magnificent architectural ensemble, lovely views for lovers Photo 4. Bank of the Volga 5 Special refectory for tourists-Аrhondariki, all very tasty! and of course this is the atmosphere-you feel that from a stuffy room got fresh spring breeze

  • Very beautiful place. Council-better get on "water" by boat. View from the Volga, when podplyvaesh' to the monastery-3. The territory itself is very clean, there are pointers-it is difficult to get lost.

  • Spent three days with children. Came from Nizhny Novgorod, exhilarated. Beautiful, dusheveno, warmth, welcome, sunny. Grace is felt throughout. Pleasant companionship, I especially Nina poslushnicej.

  • We were very lucky with the weather: it was a very warm and sunny, so all the domes, crosses and other decorations in the churches glistening struggled that gave additional solemnity to the monastery. A small, very nice, cosy and very well-kept monastery, which opens with a breathtaking view of the Volga River. It is a pity that Cedar Grove is closed to the public.

  • Believers will be interesting for tourists as an object of worship, regular tourists seem just nicely, foreign as a monument of history and culture of Russia. But there are many shortcomings: there are virtually no shops (and if it is, it is not in the shade) when we visited here, everything (everything) was closed, wanted to visit in hvaljonoj Grove, but alas, this left an indelible unpleasant recollection. But nice. The temple is very beautiful. It is a wonderful monument of ancient architecture. There is a beautiful grove, but it can be closed
