  • On the way stopped at Pskov in the stationmaster's House. The entrance is 100 rubles. Discount ticket 70 rubles. Informative Exposition. It does not take much time, just to take a break from sitting in the car. The life of that time, job mail. Original pieces of furniture and interior design.

  • When SERVED at the POST OFFICE you had to visit JaMShhIKOM in the pit? No, not kuprinskuju "Hole" I mean, don't think wrong. And not just in the pit, which can be reached through carelessness or negligence, where you can get seriously injured if there on the bottom will be stones or pieces of scrap iron. And not in "the Wolf pit," the crux of the matter. There certainly may be full come kirdyk if not lucky to run into sever dug the bottom of sharpened stakes. We are talking about the pit, which offers the prospect of ... I asked the question: "what is the difference between jamshhikom, kucher and Carter?" upon hearing my correct answer, very surprised. I was the first visitor to the Museum, who immediately responded to this question. And this is precisely the "Yama", i.e. the postal station at the Belarusian tract, built in the year 1800. She became the third from St. Petersburg. If you remember, distances between settlements in Russia always considered from one post office to the next on the itinerary. So from Pochtamtskoj Street in the heart of our city to the station in Wyra has just 80 km. Or verst-75 because verst just 1066.8 meters. Hence, each driving between stations for about 25 miles. Girls loshadushki 25 versts-all, it's time to change them. Now to reach the Proper complaint, read by swapping one form of transport to another, it would take almost three hours, if you go by taxi, then by train, and then by bus and with three transfers-bus-train-taxi-bus, so far more than five hours and a quarter. And straight on.

  • The Museum was founded October 15, 1972 year and became the first in Russia dedicated to the literary character. On the archival documents and narratives of A.s.Pushkin "stationmaster" recreated the atmosphere of post road life of the 19th century. Place for the Museum was not chosen by chance. It is situated on the way from St. Petersburg to Pskov (former Belarusian postal road, modern kievskoe Highway) in the building of the former postal station was the third station from the capital, where in former times (18TH-19th centuries) travelling and horse stable. A visitor who is logged on to the Museum, is in the atmosphere of a typical postal station of Pushkin's time. All things real. On the table lay the string book, it positively Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, on the table at a big Dutch oven-Teaware 1820-IES, a little to the side stand untouched bed occupants and road stuff. In room Dunjashi-table with left nedoshityj crafts, handmade sundress, forgotten embroidery at the window on the Tambour, carelessly scattered simple decoration at the window on the chest. In the second Hall is located "jamshhickaja" with exhibits related to everyday life yamshchikov and peasants. On the walls are lined with yokes, harnesses, bridles, arc with bells. In a separate building Exposition "Mail of Russia in the second half of the 19th century"
