Mannerheim Line, Vyborg
(4.2/5 based on 30+ reviews on the web)
The Mannerheim Line was a defensive fortification line on the Karelian Isthmus built by Finland against the Soviet Union. During the Winter War it became known as the Mannerheim Line, after Field Marshal Baron Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim. The line was constructed in two phases: 1920–1924 and 1932–1939. By November 1939, when the Winter War began, the line was by no means complete.

  • Monuments are impressive and the Russian way there was plastic flowers, tobacco, sugar and candies to the monuments of the city. Here, also, is still visible in the eg. Helmets, cores and grenade shrapnel. Spots (the largest) is marked by the wayside but the smaller you won't find unless you directions. The locals are friendly and, when asked, Yes to help you find the items you want. These are definitely worth a visit. The easiest way is to start by looking at those who are just päätiestön.

  • I drove here deliberately, but with no idea of the extent of the winter war. Only place I realized that was happening here. Unfortunately, the Mannerheim line in the network a rarity, and centralized excursions a little (I advise you to ride with Bairom Irinčeevym-guglite!), so I searched all the dots myself. Here you must come to everyone, especially boys, to know the history of their country. Here are a few interesting and easily accessible coordinates points: Bunker Sk5-60.505278, 29.016111-60.505278, Sk6 Bunker 29.016944 mass grave the Finns-60.508056, 29.021944-60.505556, Sk10 Bunker 29.033056 60.512214-Sk16 Hopper, 29.009698
