Historic Site Tourist Spot
The Mannerheim Line was a defensive fortification line on the Karelian Isthmus built by Finland against the Soviet Union. During the Winter War it became known as the Mannerheim Line, after Field Marshal Baron Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim. The line was constructed in two phases: 1920–1924 and 1932–1939. By November 1939, when the Winter War began, the line was by no means complete.

  • Monuments are impressive and the Russian way there was plastic flowers, tobacco, sugar and candies to the monuments of the city. Here, also, is still visible in the eg. Helmets, cores and grenade shrapnel. Spots (the largest) is marked by the wayside but the smaller you won't find unless you directions. The locals are friendly and, when asked, Yes to help you find the items you want. These are definitely worth a visit. The easiest way is to start by looking at those who are just päätiestön.
