  • It would seem-on the Vologda lace know since childhood-and yet a visit to the Museum is impressive. The number of ideas, labour, skill ...! Unexpected fabrics, weave technique-but most importantly, every exhibit is a masterpiece of human imagination and labour

  • It would seem, than can captivate the Lace Museum, far from the topic of the visitor? We were pleasantly surprised. Good impression began with wardrobe. In the Museum there are free lockers with key everywhere nestaryj themed renovation. Extensive and systematic exposition of epochs. There are like wall exhibits, napkins, tablecloths, household items, and mannequins in Lacy outfits from different eras. For explanation are used as simple signature and multimedia elements. Many items can be examined and explored for a long time, finding all new parts, wondering how this has changed little, like, detail, as the lace trim under the influence of fashion, political ideology and queries of modernity. Positive impression was compounded by a visit to the Museum Café with a very modern and stylish, where for a penny you can drink tea and discuss what you see)
