  • Should definitely go with excursion! Some of the buildings still being restored, but to get an idea about this place can be and already existing expositions. Very interesting story these places! At the gift shop you can build watermelon honey, mustard, local tea cakes. Pretty much endemic in this place. Mustard Museum and manual getting oil mustard-beyond all praise. At the end of the excursion received the bonus jar of mustard oil. The children listened with interest to the tour-although at first go it is not wanted. Thanks to Museum employees and guides for the maintenance of traditions!

  • The expectations were quite high and they mostly failed to materialize. Firstly, if you have never been here, you are unlikely to immediately realize that this is a museum complex. Buildings for the most part are in very poor condition. Frankly, crumbling facades faded. some of them are downright dangerous (especially building next to the pharmacy ...) I realize that not all of them belong to the Museum (and the, Museum workers do anything about it may not), but that the Administration does not want to bring the monuments in order-this is very sad. From the whole range of outwardly decent look only church, the building of the community library and House of unmarried sisters and unmarried brothers. Everything else is a very neglected. Even advertising signs near the complex-at least, and even those that have faded, and not the first freshness. The exhibition itself also did not leave that ineffaceable impressions ... pretty meager number of exhibits, some more layouts, posters. Authentic things quite a bit. And that in complex "Old Sarepta" makes Hall of "ice age"-it is not clear at all to me. The impression that the premises nothing to take, here and there are function rooms of the type of "ice age" and "Busts of the Romanovs". Again, I can understand that small exhibits-not the fault of the Museum. But if inside the building were refurbished would be well-it would be nice to just walk on the ancient German Home 18-th century. -Continuous disappointment. Most liked the apothecary's House-even though there is a lot to see-was left with antique furniture, documents, packaging from under medication and more. But inside the building completely incomprehensible obkleeno scary modern wallpaper, that spoils all perception. From pluses I note very very friendly staff. You can see that they are trying, as they can. It is a pity that the complex with so much potential so poorly funded.

  • In the summer on a weekday was quite deserted. Arrived at its car, have parked without any problems. The territory has proven to be quite small. Essentially it is a ring of buildings around the square. Everywhere is clean, there are trees, benches. Bezljudnost gave interest examined, there were no crowds, not giving a feel of old. But still fully feel the spirit of this Old Sarepty personally, I failed. Maybe because we hiked ourselves without a guide. Perhaps due to the fact that really for examination there are only 4 buildings. Two buildings stand abandoned and only available for external examination. Two buildings are some existing institutions. In General, small scale. I would also like to mention the wonderful collaborators of the Museum. Incredibly cute good women, courteous, responsive. You can see that love their job, will be happy to answer any questions, also very nice. This is actually a huge plus! Just liked Church. It operates every Saturday (or Sunday, can't remember) at 10.00 am here live organ music and goes to the service.

  • A very interesting place. Museum workers have done the impossible: turned old dilapidated buildings in the best Museum in Volgograd. We just had no luck with a guide. 29 April, 4:00 pm excursion was very boring. Further questions put a guide at an impasse. Left with mixed feelings of admiration and frustration.

  • Very cozy. Beautiful park. Most importantly, my child was delighted with the haunted cellar. While we heartily enjoyed cakes and mustard with nardekom. Thank you!

  • A very interesting place. The place where the soprekasajutsja history and mysticism where not without casts. Legends and mysteries. Insanely fun to listen rasskazyvaemoe. Independently overcome the oil and the wine. And in a souvenir shop to buy memory various interesting gizmos.

  • Liked it. Interesting. Learned that extremely important 'yla Sarepta colony on the Volga. Awesome work done by Museum staff since 1989 year. A very large amount of data collected and submitted. Is constantly expanding. Boldly plan jelyj day at the exposition, walks and lunch at the cafe with German cuisine. Recover a lot. But the important thing is that is not broke. Here you can see the oldest building in Volgograd. And they operate. The whole history of the colony is very impressed. Recommend

  • A nice dip in the olden days. Resemble the ancient catacombs.
