The Volga is Europe's largest river, stretching 3,200 km (2,000 mi), and it has always played a prominent role in Russia's economy, history, and folklore. Along the riverbanks, visit cities from the old empire, such as Vladimir, Suzdal, Kostroma, and Yaroslavl. If you're looking to explore scenic nature, Samara Bend National Park provides a great stop along the way. The river also features sandy beaches and a number spots for water sports. • From Moscow to St Petersbourg on the RUSS MS with Croisieurope (who is not owner of the boats, all Russians and dating back to the 1980s in general). Cruise very well organized but the comfort of cabins is unacceptable at this price level: bunks where on wood landed an inefficient 10cm thick foam mattress. Shower room where a sad curtain to flowers helps isolate the Toilet to put his briefcase while showering... Beware some cabins are located near the mouth of ventilation of the alleyway, very noisy and it is impossible to sleep regardless of the bridge and the price paid. ... a Council, if this is your case, immediately ask to change... No lounge to relax, very noisy dining room. On the other hand, the boat is very clean, friendly staff and good food. The sites visited are mythical and historic and the wire from the Volga beautiful to watch scrolling with the fall colors. .. Russian escorts and guides are very well... Don't forget the umbrella and warm clothes if you go on this season because temperatures drop quickly... cruises end up to October 15, where the water can freeze on the Moscow canal
