3.9/5 based on 360+ reviews on the web
Board the legendary S-56 Submarine Museum through the hatchways to see how its heroic crew fought storms, survived torpedo attacks, and sank ten Nazi German ships during World War II. The submarine houses a museum devoted to the development of the Pacific Fleet's submarine forces. The last three of the seven sections are unchanged from the times of war. See the control room with the 9 m (30 ft) long periscope, the submarine's original tonnage board, and one opened torpedo. Look out for the "dried seaman," a mannequin, listening to the sound of the sea. • One of the many places that you can visit the whole family! It would be more informative if offered guide services (we were among weeks) ... The grand tour made no impression, since similar museums held in all cities of RUSSIA. In Kaliningrad (in my opinion) similar Museum more interesting!

  • Favorite from childhood, one of the most unusual in the city. On the one hand, the story of the heroism of Soviet submariners. on the other hand, see the "insides" of this submarine. When you walk on residential and office space, perepolzaeš′ from the Bay into the Bay through the narrow lazam, very easy to imagine the feelings of the submariners, serving in similar circumstances. Regularly visit on May 9 as a ritual. with family and friends.
