S-56 Submarine Museum, Vladivostok

(3.9/5 based on 380+ reviews on the web)
Board the legendary S-56 Submarine Museum through the hatchways to see how its heroic crew fought storms, survived torpedo attacks, and sank ten Nazi German ships during World War II. The submarine houses a museum devoted to the development of the Pacific Fleet's submarine forces. The last three of the seven sections are unchanged from the times of war. See the control room with the 9 m (30 ft) long periscope, the submarine's original tonnage board, and one opened torpedo. Look out for the "dried seaman," a mannequin, listening to the sound of the sea. • Living in the city of Vladivostok, I visited the Memorial Museum underwater boat, as if in the past, images of the crew cabin, help etc you get during the war years, when people were dying for us to live better and it will not leave indifferent anybody, thanks to the creators of this monument to the fallen in battle ...

  • In contrast to the not-so-big inspiration and expectations not tours. Cheap admission fees, but cash only. Russia Navy's old photos and items are exhibited. A very narrow passage in the body is not recommended for those. On the way, coming out of nowhere selling souvenirs which I bought a magic Cup. Feel good (?) is a fraud. I'd rather be on the cutting edge, which is anchored in the harbor across the street watching a warship to Russia much more fabulous.

  • The Arc de Triomphe, stopped by on the way to the submarine Museum. The entrance fee is 100 rubles. The Interior is narrow and didn't much think the exhibits for the World War II submarine that is important to you before you actually plays!
