Water Body
Walk along the coast, admire the view of the city from a vantage point, or sail into the port, and you'll quickly realize that Golden Horn Bay is the heart of Vladivostok. Named after its counterpart in Istanbul, the 7 km (4.3 mi) long bay is the center of the city's industrial and tourist life. Next to many commercial ships that frequently cross its waters, the bay is also the home of the Russian Pacific Fleet. Keen boat watchers often enjoy sightings of every type of vessel, from luxury yachts to large ocean liners and mighty destroyers. Spanning the bay is the massive Golden Bridge, one of the city's most recognizable sights. On the waterfront you can find many cafes, restaurants, hotels, and other establishments that allow visitors to admire the beauty of the bay. Put Golden Horn Bay and other Vladivostok attractions into our Vladivostok vacation route planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • I looked at the Bay from different angles. It looks different from all of them, but nevertheless beautiful. It reminds me of Istanbul. With all the bridges and ships sailing in it.  more »
