Golden Horn Bay, Vladivostok

Walk along the coast, admire the view of the city from a vantage point, or sail into the port, and you'll quickly realize that Golden Horn Bay is the heart of Vladivostok. Named after its counterpart in Istanbul, the 7 km (4.3 mi) long bay is the center of the city's industrial and tourist life. Next to many commercial ships that frequently cross its waters, the bay is also the home of the Russian Pacific Fleet. Keen boat watchers often enjoy sightings of every type of vessel, from luxury yachts to large ocean liners and mighty destroyers. Spanning the bay is the massive Golden Bridge, one of the city's most recognizable sights. On the waterfront you can find many cafes, restaurants, hotels, and other establishments that allow visitors to admire the beauty of the bay. • You can see the beautiful night view. Places located behind the port of Vladivostok, to enter anyone, so take a look at that.

  • Across the Bay lies shrouded Golden Bridge. The view is breathtaking! Bay in the Peter the great gulf in the sea of Japan. On its banks stands the city of Vladivostok. Turns out she's named, like Bay in Istanbul, according to my guide. Amazing scenic painting.

Where to stay in Vladivostok

One of the most popular destinations of the Russian Far East, Vladivostok offers its visitors plenty of options for a place to stay. You'll find many centrally located hotels, as well as those in residential areas; and because of the city's bay location, sea-view rooms are not an uncommon feature. Several high-end hotels cater to well-heeled travelers, while those with more modest budgets will also find plenty of options, including smaller hotels, bed and breakfasts, and hostels. If you prefer self-catering accommodation, look for apartments in some of the most popular locations around the city.
