Where to stay in Vladimir

Even though Vladimir doesn’t offer too many places to stay, the diversity of options should meet the needs of most visitors. Most of the city's hotels are boutique establishments, with a few high-end, very luxurious options. Budget travelers can choose between several hostels, while those looking for self-catering accommodation can rent fully furnished apartments. As in many mid-sized Russian cities, most of the lodgings are concentrated in the center, with a handful of places to stay in more residential neighborhoods.

  • The building contains an interesting mixture of art, local history, war history, photography and archaeology. Worth buying the combined ticket to include all of these exhibits.  more »
  • Building by itself inside a little interesting. Museum for children, there are a lot of them. But for adults, nothing special. There is a small art gallery, but so-so.

  • Great fun place! The building was constructed in 1785-1790 to Vladimir's provincial government seats (provincial government). Perhaps the architect was the form worked together with vladimirskimi architects a. Vershinskim and Nikolai von Berk. On the ground floor there is a children's Museum, with interactive programs for kids. On the second floor of the cultural and educational center-art gallery with a permanent exhibition of Russian art of XVIII-beginning of XX centuries ", where you can see works by Alexei Savrasov, Ivan Shishkin, Ivan Aivazovsky and Valentin Serov. "The charm of days gone by ..." tells about the life of a noble Manor.
