  • The monument is situated not far from uspenski Cathedral, and it is symbolically. Andrei Rublev, the Wizard icon painting and portrait and monumental painting, painted Cathedral (allegedly 1408) depicts a painter sitting and creating their masterpieces. Btw, preserved in the Cathedral of his painting (partly)

  • Located in the city centre, near the Cathedral of the assumption. The largest number of frescos of the artist's genius lies not just in the Dormition Cathedral. Preserved and revealed the frescoes of Andrei Rublev in mainly on the topic of "doomsday", performed in 1408, he was able to express in painting attitude different from that of the Byzantine. Andrei rublev refuses to Byzantine asceticism and severity and provides interpretation of the meaning of the judgment of the Court of the righteous. Images of the Apostles, Angels and saints are softness, lyricism, poetry, their faces are similar to person of ordinary Russians.

  • Past the monument simply cannot pass-it is next to the main street and in fact, before entering the main attraction of the town. Would like to see somewhere near stand with a description of the monument, and raises questions about the appropriateness of his properties.
