  • In the summer he visited again in a male monastery in the Valley Fiagdon, RNO-Alania. This miracle of architecture is located in the beautiful location among the mountain peaks of the Caucasus. There attracts pilgrims from all over the world, tourists are a never-ending stream attack this attraction. Not only can enjoy the beautiful views and the architecture of the monastery, but also to participate in services held in the temple, buy souvenirs, icons, consecrated food and water. Next to the monastery mountain river Fiagdon, monks equipped there place and consecrated it for ablutions after a long journey or from disease. In addition, on the way to this monastery you can enjoy unforgettable scenery of the mountain gorge, drink the purest glacial water from the waterfalls, to taste national cuisine in the many restaurants and cafes along the road. Visit this corner of nature-you will not regret!

  • Were in strong wind-hard on stairs to climb, literally blowing away with the wind. Liked that the monastery looks ascetic, very fit in mountain landscape.

  • The place is beautiful, newly built monastery, beautifully smotrit'sja amidst the mountains and. .. but I'm not particularly impressed because of its novelty. Although, probably for good reason. The monastery is built of round stones, well integrated into the landscape, saying that it had built only a few people, and this feat in the name of faith. Be sure to go farther in the Dargavs-the city of the dead, it's fabulous. by the way, next to the monastery there are a couple of crypts, as in dargavs, the cave is strengthening in the rock and ancient Ossetian Church. This is interesting.
