Learn about Peter the Great's obsession with the sea at Botik Museum. Here, you can see his Fortuna, the sailboat often referred to as the grandfather of the Russian fleet. The last boat to survive from the fleet of more than 100, the Fortuna is 7 m (23 ft) long and 2 m (6.6 ft) wide. Discover how the young tsar studied navigation and started sailing on the nearby lake. • To enter the territory of the museum-Manor must immediately pay 50 rubles. per person. Rude and incompetent attendants do not give any references-pay and go further. Or don't pay and get lost. If you decide to pay, you need to climb up the stairs to be in the park area, where the main subdivisions of the museum-Manor. On the way next to the staircase you can see a modern monument dedicated to the young Peter during his "amusing" period (then everything has become not funny). All objects of the museum-Manor are paid separately, like there is a single ticket (300 rubles, specify). What can be seen here: Monument-Obelisk of Peter I (1852); The Botny House, built in the early 19th century with the only real surviving bot "Fortuna of the entire Sweat flotilla-the end of the 17th century, the length of 7.3, the width of 2.3 m (60 rubles); Rotunda of the middle of the 19th century with an exposition dedicated to the image of Peter in art (40 rubles); White Palace mid 19...

  • To be in Pereslavle-Zaleski and not to see Botik Petra, of course impossible. The museum complex consists of several objects for which separate tickets are sold. You can buy a complex ticket, and book a tour. In my opinion, it is advisable to sell a ticket to the Botny House (the place where the Botik Petra is located) together with a minimal excursion and to run visitors, let's say, once in half an hour. When the visitors are constantly coming out, the question arises: what is the preservation of such an ancient relic? Petra can only be reached by taxi (at least in winter), on the way back faced with a problem-there were no free taxi cars, had to look for a ride. This situation with the lack of free taxis in the new Year holidays in Pereslavl we have arisen several times. Perhaps this happens only in the days of holidays, so it is necessary to stock up in advance the telephones of local taxi services.

  • You can visit once. Only because of the beautiful panoramic views. The exposition itself is valuable only to the Botkom itself, everything else is C grade. Especially "killed" Rotunda: for 50 rubles is offered to look at the empty room, draped fabrics with several portraits on the walls. I, in theory, can take for the entrance to the living room at home rubles for 100. In the forest for some reason installed ballistic missile and torpedoes... There is a café. Not cheap with long waiting meals. Beautiful view and lake.
