  • Unfortunately, the place is in ruins and is in dire need of restoration. Once the richest monastery lies in ruins, and a wonderful openwork Gate Church or peel and collapses.

  • A beautiful monastery, with adjoining loveable square with access to the river. The incredible beauty and tranquility. Nice place, which will be remembered.

  • The ruins of the monastery are deeply wounded my heart. This 10-century monastery. The tenth! The first or one of the first in Russia! From him, alas, were only ruins and entrance arch-the holy gates (the attempted restoration, not entirely successful). On the site of the temple ruins, the fuzzy outline of the Foundation. With the inscription on the altar: "Please do not walk the dogs!" it's not the Bolsheviks-atheists, not Tatars not tevtoncy Knights brought it to such a State. It's already our contemporaries lead dog shitting on the graves of their own ancestors. They also looted remains of masonry-evaporate it could not. Sorry, the soul stung.
