Tula State Museum of Weapons, Tula

(4.8/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web)
Housed in a former gun factory, Tula State Museum of Weapons plays home to an extensive collection of firearms, swords, and other tools of war from both Russia and around the world. Explore the museum's holdings, which originated from Peter the Great's personal armory during the late 18th century, and you'll get a glimpse of weapon development and production from throughout the past five centuries, up to the modern day. View everything from ceremonial cavalry swords to muskets to contemporary weapons including the ubiquitous AK-47 assault rifle. Keep in mind the fact that, as Tula used to be one of Russia's most important arms-production areas, many of the objects within the museum emerged from the very factory you're touring. • Very nice and interesting excursions. Was with a large group of business partners. The Museum of weapons. Interesting exposition. A large selection of souvenirs in trading numbers.

  • Visited the Museum in November, it's just a great place! Very interesting and very informative for people of either sex and all ages:) You can take a tour, but we had the mood slowly wander independently. In addition, the showcases we found tablets, which could without a guide and learn many interesting facts about the most interesting instances, and is pleasantly surprised. I long to be hung at the showcases with machetes-not tired to admire the elegance of Tula and foreign masters! The Museum is equipped with a children's play area, where the guys played themselves, drew, armor worn. And yet there's one fun option: the ability to take pictures, make photo collage in the guise of warriors of different peoples and send it to your email, and absolutely free! The truth was decent, but the result was worth:D Put 5 of 5 Museum-interesting, interactively and informative! The perfect way to spend a couple of hours:)

  • Actually not only for boys. Enjoyed this museum. Unfortunately, we had a little time on it, so there you can hang for a long time.
