  • Tula Museum of art just rocked! Museum ticket costs just 170 rubles! Immediately sent to the third floor is the exposition takes place from top to bottom. On the third floor-Western paintings of the 16th-19th centuries. Italy, Holland, France, Germany, Spain, Austria and even Poland! Including such artists, about which I, for one, had never even heard. A huge impression on me was by a cycle of paintings by Leandro Bassano "twelve months". In these paintings, depicting mainly seasonal work of peasants, many minor details (especially cats!), they can be seen for hours and always find new details. The Museum's large collection of "small Dutchmen", as well as an impressive collection of French painting (Eustache Lesjuer, Claude Vernet, and others). Paintings supplemented by sculpture of the 19th century, low plasticity and decorative and applied art (majolica, porcelain, faience). On the first floor there is a Russian art from the 16th-19th and early 20th centuries. Wonderful portraits, including Tropinin, Ivanov, Ivan Kramskoi, Serov and other artists, famous and not so much. A remarkable portrait of a widow Kustodiev's work! Gorgeous scenery-Polenov, Shishkin, Yuon, Aivazovsky, Korovin. Shocked me most picture hitherto not known me Andrey Nikolay Schilder "spring evening in the forest". When seen from a nearby Hall primarily striking the fiery sunset reflection in puddles on the forest paths. So writing began in the mid-20th century, and the artist died in 1919-m! Immediately-sculpture (Antokolskiy, Beklemishev, Klodt) and decorative and applied art-porcelain, glass, furniture, etc. The first floor is given over to the art of the TWENTIETH and early twenty-first century. Century XX submitted just luxuriously: Konchalovsky, Alexander Osmerkin, mashkov, Falk, Malyutin, Kandinsky, Rodchenko, Tyshler, David Shterenberg, Nesterov, Petrov-vodkin. Just a feast for the eyes and soul! And Deyneka, Pimenov, Nyssa, n. Romadin, Layers ... I even do not know what else the City Museum can boast such a collection! The second half of the twentieth century also pleases the diversity (and variety). There are also sculptures (Sergey Konenkov, Golubkina), and again the decorative and applied arts. One room is given to contemporary artists of Ryazan (as I understood it, in this Hall exhibitions are held). All lovers of painting (and those who do not lose their desire to become) recommend this museum. Get great pleasure!

  • It is not necessary to mix just to come to the Museum starting of course with 3 floors are just there to more ancient. Wander around enjoying the beauty and history. Before visiting a little acquainted with history on the official website of the Museum. However you will not regret because many halls, paintings by famous artists of different styles and schools, collections of porcelain, furniture. Very informative and interesting. I got great pleasure in autumn adventure in the world of beauty.

  • Start your visit of the gallery from the top floor. The most interesting staff is there. Otherwise by the way you get to the third floor, you will be tired and won't enjoy the works of art there. We s...  more »
