  • The sculpture appeared in the 90-ies of the 20-th century. ... According to the plan authors, embodies: statesmanship, strength, will and celeustremlenngost' of our compatriot Nikita Demidov (rodonachal'niku metallurgy and defense industry of Russia). :) Although in reality, the man was contradictory and ambiguous. Quite unclean hands and conscience. Money liked. But, something for Motherland did. What I write? Yes to what monument is absolutely not good! In my view, does not reflect the essence of this person, nor its value to the country. ... Hercules some .... But, over time, become accustomed to it and slowly the sculpture becomes part of the cultural space of Tula! The more that is located near the new building of the Museum of weapons and, incidentally, the historic location of the homes Habitat Demidovs. The House has not been preserved. Specifically go to the monument makes no sense! The bottom line is it zamylena a lot of falsehood and fiction. But, you will definitely see if you visit the beautiful Museum of weapons ....

  • Read reviews of "Centaur waist bare! Yes how else was portray Mikita Demidova, who was no Aristocrat, but with the hammer stood in the forge, forged iron ... In scorching heat, in a leather apron, naked to the waist ... .... on another-no!

  • Portray the Boyar and Aristocrat waist naked al, of course, Tin. Apparently the idea was to show some kind of Greek God Hephaestus Demidova to Russia because of a noble family and stripped of man that totally nepotrebno for him and very hurtful and insulting it would be another 100 years ago. O tempora, o mores!
