After visiting Yasnaya Polyana wanted to visit and at Kozlova zaseka. It seemed that otherwise trip will be incomplete. Arriving at the station do not grudge, despite the fact that to get there from the Homestead is not very convenient. The station has been preserved in its historic form. In the same building is a waiting room and a small museum. Before entering the Museum stands a bust of Leo Tolstoy, are inscribed on the pedestal of his words "we all passengers in this life ... ". Even more sad is getting from these words, because the station had brought the body of Leo Tolstoy and from this station in Homestead moved procession with the coffin of a great writer. The museum itself is small. Basically it provides objects that time one way or another connected with the railway or travel on it. Also in the Museum you can see pictures of the House where the writer died, as well as photographs of the writer, including post-mortem. While in the waiting room hang clocks, which stopped at the time when the station was delivered to the body of Leo Tolstoy-6.30 am. Now let's talk about how you can get to the station. There are two options: the easiest-from bus station Tula by minibus taxi 35. And the second option from the farmstead, the least convenient because provides transplant. From the station you'll need to take a School minibus # 114 or 117 in the direction of Tula to Ivanovo dachas, go to the opposite side and sit on the same minibus # 35, running from Tula. And in both cases it is necessary to ask the driver to drop you at the station. Back everything easier, leaving from there by bus 35 to Tula.

Station-monument station-history. Definitely come here for a tour! You will learn so much about the life and work of the railway times by Leo Tolstoy. So much so that the station is connected with the life of the writer. Here he sent telegrams and letters. Hence it came to guests and friends. This station began its final journey in Yasnaya Polyana. The station is now alive and acting. There is even a passing train driver wave tradition. He will give a hoot. Buildings have been preserved virtually as what were at the beginning of the 20 century. And in the Museum many unique exhibits. The interesting thing is that the post office can send branded card with postmark Gantry Abatis. Usually write on a postcard quote the LVA Tolstogo "Write from Volzhsk. Noisy. The people of the abyss ". Photos from the Gantry Abatis, too, will be a pleasant memory about a trip to the historical station.

It's nice when people retain history museum about anything for what interest occurs when visiting this place. Many thanks to the custodians and those people who restored railway station.!

  • The Museum can be seen as remarkable completion of excursions in Yasnaya Polyana. Very anturazhnaja station. All in the theme of Tolstoy.

  • Misspells location station on the map. On map-a town in Oblique mount, rather than 2-St West. Great station, the more I live in three steps.
