  • Each time bringing friends from different cities of Russia in Taganrog, I show them the old town and the Museum 2, which, in my opinion, they need to see. One of them, the second presentation of the Shop House of Chekhov. Both museums are small, but show the living conditions of the families of Anton Chekhov in Taganrog. Shop Presentation allows you to understand how you lived that time merchants: they traded and lived in the same House. On the ground floor of the Museum presented Interior stalls: scales, bags, jars, flasks. And if large museums you must spend several hours, this museum can be viewed for 15 minutes

  • One of the places connected with the life of Chekhov on hometowns! Located in the historic city centre. Get there quite easily by public transport and by car. ... Located near Central Park in Taganrog. so you can combine a visit to the Museum with a stroll through the beautiful park. Museum is interesting, both for fans of creativity of the great writer and interested in the history and life of people who lived in the late 19 century. Bench is typical of those times. First floor-bench itself, the second presentation of the family lived. Authentic exhibits associated with the writer, since the Museum was created relatively recently (sometime in the early 80-ies of the 20 's) and reflects the life of small merchants at that time. But, in General, interestingly enough! If you stay in this wonderful city and you have free time for exploring, it is not even bad visit this place and broaden your horizons!

  • The most scenic and informative Museum. Museum shop on the ground floor is complemented by the shop selling tea, on the second floor-living rooms. Very informative, everywhere there are plaques with explanations, and very beautiful. Private parking on the side streets you can stay.
